The image shows galaxies as old as 13.2 billion years. The Universe is about 13.7 billion years old. The image  is of a small patch  of sky, only a small fraction of the angular diameter of the full moon, located  at the center of the original <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hubble_Ultra-Deep_Field\" title=\"Deep Field\" target=\"_blank\">Hubble Ultra Deep Field<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/images\/content\/690958main_p1237a1.jpg\" alt=\"eXtreme\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>(Credit: NASA; ESA; G.
