These groups are only part of the wider community and I highlight them for purely personal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Polish group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"polgraw\" href=\"https:\/\/polgraw.camk.edu.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\">Virgo-POLGRAW group<\/a>,\u00a0 lead by\u00a0\u00a0 Prof. Andrzej Kr\u00f3lak at IMPAN.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Welsh group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"gravity cardiff\" href=\"http:\/\/www.astro.cardiff.ac.uk\/research\/gravity\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cardiff Gravitational Physics Group<\/a>,\u00a0 and within that the Data Innovation Institute lead by Prof Bernard F Schutz.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just want to acknowledge the contributions of two teams to the discovery of gravitational waves.
