Stellar Black Holes - Some Myths

Well this is something that annoys me somewhat, because there is no need for it.

I’m going to discuss some aspects of stellar sized black holes, these are formed after supernova, from stars of about 20 Solar masses and themselves are about 10 Solar masses (between 5 and 15 depending on which you look at).

For those of you who use google earth, there has been a sky addon for it for a while where you can peruse images of the stars… and now it’s online!

It’s rather fun, and a nice way to pass the time of day.
