		<description>I just have to worry about any database schema changes -- if any occur, I have to run a script that updates each blog's tables individually, which will take longer and longer every time someone creates a blog.

I'll have to look and see how MU would handle it.</description>

Something you might be interested in doing is using subversion to checkout the latest version of WPMU. Upgrading then becomes fairly painless; on my own blog, I use the command

&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;code&gt;svn sw http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/tags/2.3.3/&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;

to update. Works pretty well 99% of the time and you don't have to worry about crapping it all up.</description>
