Talk like a physicist day tied in with "Pi day" (3-14) and Einstein's birthday, and the date was announced well in advance. So try and co-opt another celebration to help raise awareness — maybe Earth day, or at least groundhog day. And I think you may be swimming upstream (Ha! I take to this like a fish to water. Double ha!) with this. IMO, nobody brings the geek like physicists. :) I think you need a few things.
