		<description>I've never actually read the Beadle and Tatum paper, just read about it in textbooks.  I'll be sure to download it and take a look.  I would say, though, that the "one gene" idea has been revised even further to include functional RNAs as well as polypeptides. Good post, thanks for writing.</description>
