You don&#8217;t even have the &#8220;I was misquoted&#8221; excuse when you&#8217;ve removed the human being from the equation.<\/p>\n<p>Great example:  Pete Hoekstra (R, Min) tweeting about the horrible mistreatment he and his colleagues have suffered.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Iranian twitter activity similar to what we did in House last year when Republicans were shut down in the House.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Not surprisingly, that set off the internet&#8217;s sarcasmotron.  <a href=\"http:\/\/search.twitter.com\/search?q=petehoekstra\">Lots of tweets<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/petehisameme.wordpress.com\/2009\/06\/17\/whats-this-all-about\/\">a blog post devoted to it<\/a>.
