What fraction of those who would “get” this joke (sin(x) ~ x, when x is small) won’t be annoyed because the joke makes no sense? Length (or volume, or width, or …) is not a dimensionless quantity.
Or, trying to make sense of the senseless, perhaps the insult is based on the number of penises the person has, rather than the dimensions of said penises? The insult is that the number of penises is small compared to one, although nonzero, since then the “approximately” would be superfluous. I kind of like that explanation, but then shouldn’t the plural should be used, rather than the singular?
