Michael Faraday, grand unified theorist? (1851)
The common thread of many of [Faraday’s] discoveries is their goal: demonstrating that all the physical forces of nature are but different manifestations of a single, ‘universal’ force. This idea was a surprisingly modern one for Faraday’s time, and is known today as a unified field theory. Such research was likely on the minds of many researchers of that era, however: once Ørsted discovered that a magnetic compass needle could be deflected by an electric current, the notion that all forces might be related was a tantalizing dream. Faraday went further than any of his contemporaries in realizing that dream, and experimentally cemented the link between electricity and magnetism and light. Faraday was by no means done, however, and in 1851 he published the results of his attempts to demonstrate that electricity and gravity are related!
Got a little problem here. Electricity, magnetism, and EM (and the Weak interaction) are chiral – the mirror world is not superposable upon the original by translation and rotation. Lorentz force is a right-handed vector cross product. Take care when hooking up your rail gun.
Gravitation is obviously achiral – Green’s function with Newton, GR’s curvature has scalars and tensors not pseudoscalars and pseudotensors (more or less). Teleparallel gravitation is obviously wrong for its torsion being chiral. Left and right shoes would differentially interact upon a spacetime left foot. Most important of all, this must never be tested! Suppose teleparallelism is empirically validated? Hundreds of pounds of Physical Review would beg errata sheets.
Load an Eotvos balance with chemically identical, single crystal, enantiomorphic crystallographic space groups P3(1)21 (right screw axes) and P3(2)21 (left screw axes) test masses in opposition. If the net output is zero SOP, no problem. If the net output is not zero… chaos.
Faraday’s perceptions were keen, right on target. The grand unified theory displayed how electricty looks on the picoyoctometric scale, wavectrons pulsing forward while emitting force. The thought of electricity boggles the mind. The graphic images generated by RQT (Relative Quantum Topological) physics show how quantum rules and relativity combine to produce the energy particles {Positrons, Workons, Superworkons, Thermons, Electromagnetons, Magnemedons}. This method uses a GT integral atomic model based on nuclear force emissions bounded by space and time, and them applies the psi’s internal momentum function. The momentum equation is rearranged to form the photon gain rule, which is then integrated on gt limits to give the set of symmetopol functions which create each of the images of the energy particles in a typical atom’s 5/2 kT J internal heat capacity energy. Since the GT psifunc is RQ, and quantized symmetry is internal to the whole function network, the symmetopol functions may be mapped as 3D pulsative images, and those energy particle models indeed intersect the values for: h, h-bar, delta, nuclear magneton, beta magneton.
