  1. I like this: If you capture one tank, with serial #1, then the formula predicts that the enemy has not produced any tanks.

    So, the Hiroshima bomb should have been given serial #1. In case it had failed to detonate and been recovered from somebody’s back yard, the Japanese would have concluded we didn’t have the bomb. Clearly all rare and secret military hardware should be given serial #1.
