The article says there is a correlaton between co-ed dorms and drinking/sex, but at the same time it suggests a causal relation by warning mothers not to send their kids over there. If my memory seves me well, if there is any causal relation, it is a reciprocal one beteen sex and drinking, nothing to do with what kind of housing you live in.
