Well, if they were holographic cameras, each half of the camera would still have the same functionality of the whole camera, so you could use the other half! :P

Of course, even if they weren’t, half a lens still gives you a full image — I was contemplating a longer post on the common misconception in optics that covering up half the lens spatially gets rid of half the image, but I’ve been a little squeezed for time. The title was tongue-in-half-cheek.
