  1. Researchers’ conclusions are purchased with continuing research funding to conclude them, re tobacco. Take a mouse, shave its back, slop on tobacco tar, get a cancer. Diligent voluminous research was necessary to discredit high school science projects.

    (The same for select sunscreens, but dosed rodents were carefully not stored in sunshine. The same for hydrochlorofluorocarbons, but PAFT rodents were always sacrificed a few days before liver tumors appeared. “Unknown hazards” delayed FDA approval of terbinafine for ten years while all of Europe and Australia were curing vaginal candidiasis in 3-7 days.)
