@Uncle Al: What are you talking about? Personal dosimeters are for sale all over the place. There are loads on eBay, and google shopping has them at thousands of shopping sites. Geigercounters.com is selling them too, I just went right through with a purchase to the payment stage.
And the CBTBO has never given out radionuclide, it’s not a cover-up. They just aren’t responsible directly to the public – and a good thing too, information of that sort should be analysed professionally and not released to the public, the potential for harmful panic is too great.

List price for the Terra-P is $(USD)185 (including shipping) from the Ukrainian vendor “Milk Separators.” How does one buy out an entire country’s inventory? The upgraded Terra, with Bluetooth, vanished.
I have now made contact with my friend. He is in Tokyo, which was not hit badly by the earthquake. His family are safe. However, the nuclear power plants remain a worry.
The scale of it has really taken me by surprise.
