I have seen the fake bathtub video.
We keep our cesium and rubidium under vacuum when in the clocks, and it comes in a sealed ampoule with argon. We break the ampoule in the vacuum system.

i saw the whole movie that this is from back in high school in the early 80′s. it was fun. if i remember correctly, they also took a diamond. heated it up red hot with a torch and dropped it in liquid oxygen. it burned away. cool.
here is a link i found, but not to the same movie:
Swansont:
Did you ever see the fake cesium in a bathtub video? They blew up a ceramic bathtub full of water with about a gram of cesium. I don’t buy it.
Do you guys ever run into moisture concerns in your cesium fountain? I assume it is in high vacuum right?
