Top Ten Myths About Introverts

These feel pretty accurate.

Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.
Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.

Every single point is entirely accurate . It’s nice to know there are some people out there that understand we (introverts) aren’t nerdy shut ins but are just comfortable with our own company and don’t require the busy and loud stimulation of what is considered “normal” life.

Extroverts alienate us because they are jealous that they don’t have the attention span to dedicate an entire week to understanding Bessel functions.

It is sad that our society laughs at people who can do such.

I have to print this out and tape it to the door of my office. Also, underline this part: “They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.”
