Note the recoil when the Roman candle fires (there’s one clear instance of this). Conservation of momentum.

  1. I have three bologna dogs, (basset hounds) instead of wiener dogs but watching those little short legs run is always funny but my dogs are terrified of fireworks, 4th of July is always a terrible night for him, last night the fireworks, explosions and gun fire almost drove him over the edge, so far he doesn’t seem to be worried about thunder but another basset I had could predict the weather… well not really but a distant thunder storm we could not see she could hear. Even if the sky was clear and blue if she started trying to hide under the bed you could bet a thunderstorm was somewhere with 50 miles or so.
