Your wife apparently has a wonderful sense of humor.

And an infinite supply of patience.

awwwww cutie little ajb cartoony man : D

There is nothing right angled about that triangle!

@Xittenn: I did not notice that the triangle is not a right angle triangle.

Right, just been told that she did not do the background. I assume that is a picture in the public domain.

The greatest obstacle to understanding reality is not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge. No biggie,

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 + 2ab[cos(gamma)]

We have observation because engineering is like mathematics, only louder.

Uncle Al. That it not correct. The law of cosines is

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 – 2ab[cos(gamma)]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_cosines

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 – (2ab)cos(gamma)

therefore

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 + (2ab)cos(gamma)

as stated. The Tacoma Narrows bridge, 01 July 1940, was empirical. Engineering is like math, only louder.

It does not matter. this is only a cute representation of me not a mathematics lesson!
